Michael PeterLAWRENCEPassed away peacefully at home on Thursday 11th December 2025 aged 80 years, Mick of Elder Grove, Llangunnor, Carmarthen.

Much loved husband of Cynthia, loving father of Simon, James and Sarah, a cherished grandfather, father-in-law and brother.

Funeral on Monday 5th January 2026.

Public service at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth at 11.30am.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory, if desired, to RNLI received by Iwan Evans of

Mick was a special friend at school and at Southampton University where we studied civil engineering together.
I have many fond memories of him from those days.
My condolences to Cynthia and Mick's family.

Mick was a very special friend at school and subsequently at Southampton University where we studied civil engineering together. It was Mick who introduced me to wrestling as it was often on the B&W TV set when we visited his home in Hitchin. Sailing on Woburn lake in his enterprise sailing boat and cycling to Brightlingsea in Essex for a weeks caravanning and sailing were strong memories I have of him, not to mention making soapbox Karts from old pram wheels and bits of wood (Mick was good at devising karting driving tests on our back lawn).
He was a great friend, always willing to try different things. He will be greatly missed!
